Not long after opening the firm in Westgarth Village, I was elected president of the Westgarth Traders Association, and have become a spokesperson for local business owners.
The video above shows my recent interview on the Today Show about Northcote’s controversial steel pyramid street art installation.
My main concern was the safety risk that the artwork posed to pedestrians, as well as cyclists and motorcyclists whizzing down Ruckers Hill towards the city – those things were sharp!
Darebin City Council later voted unanimously to remove the $30,000 structure from High Street, just eight days after it was installed.
Don’t get me wrong – all of us Northcote Lawyers support our local artists and love local art – just not the killer kind!
